Mediaverks is owned by Teresa O'Connor, who
has written for a wide variety of publications,
companies and non-profit organizations in the
United States, Europe and Asia.
She has lived throughout the United States and in
Germany, but now operates Mediaverks from
Boise, Idaho.

Teresa's writing advice is featured in chapter
one of the book "Developing Online Content: The
Principles of Writing and Editing for the Web"
(John Wiley & Sons, 2002).
Before starting Mediaverks, Teresa was
management supervisor at Porter Novelli (Los
Angeles), where she led the agency's youth
marketing group. She held management positions
at these public relations firms:
Clients included Wyndham Hotels, Ocean SprayCranberries, Parker Brothers and Dunkin' Donuts,
among many others.
In China, she helped organize an intellectual
property rights forum for American International
Education Foundation and the City of Shanghai.
Supporters included the U.S. Embassy in Beijing;
Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers
Association; Motion Picture Association; and
American Chamber of Commerce.
In Austria, Teresa was international public
relations manager at Daniel Swarovski
Corporation, a renowned source of cut crystal
stones, crystal collectibles and fashion products.
She established a global PR department that
supplied news and strategies to offices in 26
countries. She also supervised promotional
efforts for two museum exhibitions on fashion and
design, which traveled to Milan, Hong Kong,
Zürich, London and NY.
In Boston, Teresa was communications manager
at Arkwright Mutual Insurance Company. For the
firm, she built strategic partnerships with the
Consumer Products Safety Commission and
National Weather Service. Under her direction,
Arkwright's annual report won "Best of Show"
from Insurance Marketing Communications
Association. (Arkwright merged with Factory
Mutual.)
